Wawo Takahashi

Wawo Takahashi is currently a Pre-College division pianist at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and studies with Sima Kouyoumdjian. He has played for 10 years, winning numerous awards which includes getting first place in the 19th Century Charleston Music Competition, The Art of Piano Competition, and the Virtuoso Music Competition.
Despite being a solo player, he played piano with Emma Xia, and together they have won 2nd place for Chamber music in the a United States Open Music Competition.
Beside his achievements, he has the opportunity to play in master classes, some which include learning with Kevin Lee Sun and Evan Wong. He played in school events, The Botanical Garden, and played for the medical clinics as a volunteer.
Along his career with music, he has also been part of the San Francisco Boys Chorus. He went to Italy and sang with the chorus, where they won first place. This year, after 10 years with the boy chorus, he graduated in July 2025.
