My life as a musician started with the piano where I learned the basic concepts of music. Through a couple of years of practice, I quickly developed as a decent pianist and participated in various recitals. However, I was unsatisfied with the piano and wanted to test a new instrument. That opportunity came at the end of 3rd grade as the following year, I would have the option to participate in the school orchestra. I took a particular liking to the cello because of the deep, rich sound and this was just the start of a new beginning of my music life. With the help of summer camps, I quickly learned cello basics and developed rapidly as a cellist. With time and practice, I started to join various orchestral groups such as school, volunteer, church, and youth orchestra (TCSYO) in the higher groups. This brings me to today where I am a much better cellist than I was years ago, but I am still looking to improve and become a quality musician.
