Wilson Liu, born in 2016 in Irvine, California, is currently a second-grade student at Fairmont Private School. He began his piano journey in October 2021, studying under the guidance of Michelle Peng, which ignited a profound passion for classical music. Dedicated to his craft, Wilson delves into various piano repertoire and enjoys uncovering the background stories behind them. His self-driven approach to learning the piano is evident, and he has also ventured into composing music. In 2023, he won second place in the Rhapsody Piano Competition held in Rancho Cucamonga, showcasing his growing talent.
Beyond music, Wilson demonstrates exceptional reading abilities at a sixth-grade level. When he’s not practicing the piano or immersed in books, he enjoys leisure activities such as golfing, skiing, and playing video games.
