Xiwen Shen

Erica (Xiwen) Shen, a Grade 12 student studying mezzo-soprano at the High School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music with Prof. Xuan Huang. In the 2021-2022 season, participated in the Opera Salon presented by Xuan Huang talking about Giuseppe Verdi’s renowned opera <La traviata>, and performed part of the opera as Annina together with soprano Wenmeng Gu, Tenor Ting Li and pianist Yang Yang in Shangyin Opera House. In July, participated in the 7th Chinese Peafowl Music Competition and was awarded the Excellent Prize. In October, had her first recital in Nine Trees Future Art Center, performing classical Italian Arias, French art songs and Chinese art songs.
