Yajing Kang, admitted to the Piano Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2018, studied under the renowned pianist Professor Sun Yun. In 2022, she enrolled in the Piano Department of Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute in the United States for a master’s degree, studying successively under Yoshikazu Nagai, Director of the Piano Department at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and renowned pianist Hieyon Choi. During her master’s program, she received guidance from masters such as Alexander Korsantia and Alan Chow.
Yajing Kang has performed at various venues including Shanghai Yu Opera House, Shanghai Huluting Concert Hall, Yan’an Grand Theater, Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Music Hall, and Quanzhou Grand Theater. She has also held solo concerts at Peabody Institute, Gulangyu Concert Hall in Xiamen, and Shishi City Concert Hall in Quanzhou.
