Yifan Wei

Yifan Wei, a sophomore at Farmington High School, has been learning piano since the age of six with Mrs. Tamila Azadaliyeva. Yifan has won first place in the advanced division of the Crescendo International Youth Competition, as well as chosen to be the state alternate of the MTNA Connecticut Junior Performance Piano Competition freshman year. She has also won third place in the junior division of the annual Connecticut Bach Festival and second place in the Rondo Young Artist Festival. Her other musical achievements include winning the Audrey Thayer Piano Competition multiple times, honorable mention in the 5th annual J.Y. Park Piano Competition and a finalist in the 6th annual J.Y. Park Piano Competition, winning the Select Students Hartford Chapter Competition, and performing at various piano festivals.
