Yixuan Han

Yixuan Han, a dedicated musician and pianist, is currently pursuing a Doctoral of Music Art (DMA) at the University of Michigan under the esteemed guidance of Professor Arthur Greene. His musical journey has been enriched by studying with renowned professors and participating in various festivals around the world.
Before his current pursuit, Yixuan Han obtained his MM at the New England Conservatory, where he had the privilege of learning from Professor Dang Thai Son, Alexander Korsanita, and Gabriel Chodos. For his BM, he studied under the guidance of Professor Angela Cheng at the Oberlin Conservatory. Even before that, during his pre-college days, he honed his piano skills at the Shenyang Conservatory under the tutelage of Professor Danwen Wei.
Yixuan Han’s exceptional talent has allowed him to showcase his skills at prestigious festivals such as the Rebecca Penneys Music Festival in the United States, the Beijing Music Festival in China, and the Perugia Music Festival in Italy. Recently, he was invited to perform at the Sicily Music Festival/Competition with a full scholarship and made it to the top 6 finalists, which is a testament to his outstanding abilities. Furthermore, he received an invitation to perform at the Borromeo Music Festival in Switzerland, providing him with an opportunity to explore and showcase his chamber music expertise.
Yixuan Han’s musical journey continues to flourish, and he remains committed to honing his craft and contributing his artistry to the world of music.
