Yu-Hsien Lin

Yu-Hsien Lin was born in Taipei, Taiwan and began playing the piano at the age of four. She went to the music training class in the elementary school at seven years old, and kept studying in the music class until the high school. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at National Taiwan Normal University and Master’s degree at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, majoring in Piano Performance and Chamber Music with full scholarship.

She has attended several master classes and was taught by Dang Thai Son, Lilya Ziberstein, Yossi Reshef, and Eric Huebner. Also, she has played in chamber music master classes, including Wu Han, Calidore String Quartet and Karl Paulnack collaborative master class.

In March 2018, Lisa gave her piano solo recital and piano chamber recital at University of Michigan. In 2017, she played in Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Mozart Piano Marathon and also attended The First White Nights Piano Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia. Between 2010 and 2012, she attended The Taiwan-Japan Exchange Concerts. Besides, Ms. Lin played in Asian Composer League to assist in launching the new work by the Taiwanese composer.
