Yuanxin Ma

Yuanxin Ma is a high school senior from Buckingham Browne and Nichols, a school in Massachusetts, America. She has been singing for thirteen years now, starting in Shanghai Students’ Chorus, the best young adult chorus in Shanghai, China, and was accepted into New England Conservatory’s 9-12th Youth Chorale as the only eighth grader. She started opera five years ago, and since then has participated in MMEA All-States, gotten a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 Voice, and was selected for Interlochen’s Classical Voice Intensive in 2022. Opera brings her so much joy; it is her means of sharing beauty with the world. Outside of singing, she enjoys playing the harp, traveling, and conducting interviews.
