
Yuki Ariel Wilson, born in New York City in 2008, began his cello studies at the age of three. By six, he had already performed the entire Suite No. 1 by Bach in Hendaye, France. At nine, Yuki performed seven solo recitals in Japan.
In 2019, he won third prize at the David Popper International Cello Competition in Hungary, followed by first prizes at the Kazimierz Wiłkomirski International Cello Competition in Poland (2020), the Małopolska International Music Competition (2021, in the no-age-limit cello category), and the Mahler International Cello Competition (2022).
At age 11, Yuki was invited by Professor Philippe Muller to participate in his masterclasses in Tigne, France. In 2022, Yuki returned to New York to study under Professor Muller.
He is currently a student at Lycée Français de New York and is quadrilingual, fluent in French, English, Japanese, and Spanish.
