Yulan Chen is a 9th grader at Cupertino High. She has developed a passion for music in her past 6 years of playing the flute and passed the ABRSM grade 8 flute exam with merit in 2023. Yulan Chen was a member of the FYSO Melodia group and is currently playing at the SJYS Avance Flute Choir. Her interest in music also extends out of the woodwind world; she has also attended choir and ukelele classes.
