Yuma Saito Kano

Yuma Kano first started playing piano at the age of 8. He started under the tutelage of Mrs. Helen Twiss. Subsequently, he studied piano under Mrs. Akiko Gaffney until the present. Additionally, Yuma takes lessons from Alexandre Moutouzkine from the Manhattan School of Music.

Yuma has attained many prizes, including a finalist award in the 23rd International Chopin Piano Competition In Asia. He has won first place in
Anselmo International competition, U.S. International New Star competition, International Claire Schumann competition, and the Crescendo International Music Competition.
He has also taken top prizes in the Millersville International Competition, the 2023 American Virtuoso International Music Competition, both MTNA California State Junior and Senior Competitions, MTAC Piano Concerto & Solo Competitions, CAPMT Honors Competition, ENKOR Int’l Music Competition, Vancouver International, and many other competitions. He has also participated in the MusicAlps camp in France and is part of the Back to Bach Project.
