Yuriy Rogachev

Yuriy Rogachev is a sophomore at Oak Park and River Forest High School, IL, USA. Showing a great interest in music, he began taking piano lessons at age 4. His present teacher is Sueanne Metz. Yuriy’s recent accomplishments include first place at the American Fine Arts International Music Competition, Franz List Center International Piano Competition, the Berkley Pendell Piano Scholarship Competition, platinum medal at Canadian International Music Competition, gold medals at the Grand Metropolitan International Music Competition as well as Chicago and North Shore Area Music Teachers Association Sonata Festivals. He won first place at the Parello-Veverka Piano Scholarship Competition, International Great Composers Competition, Illinois Music Association’s Olympic Competition, Granquist Music Competition, Chicago Area Music Teachers Association Summer Music Camp Scholarship. He earned multiple Regional Gold Medals, State Certificates of Excellence and First-Class Honors with Distinction Certificates at Royal Conservatory of Music Development Program.
Yuriy has had the honor of performing at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, Chicago Symphony Center, National Opera Center in New York, at New Philharmonic Orchestra concert at the McAninch Arts Center Belushi Performance Hall.
Always very energetic, Yuriy also likes math and competitive swimming. He is USA Taekwondo National Team member for 2023 and a gold medalist at the USA National Taekwondo Championships.
