Yutae Jung

Yutae (Albert) Jung, is a Junior at Palo Alto Senior High School and studies with Eric Sung at SFCM. He’s a cellist in CYS since 2018 and has led as section leader and assistant principal. He has performed with the All-State Jr Orchestra, CMEA Honor Orchestra, KAMSA YSO, and more. He won at KAMSA, Silicon Valley YMC, Jr Bach Festival, USOMC and more. As a chamber musician, his trio won in the Great Composers Competition, ENKOR IMC, and a USIMC Finalist. He attended a SFCM Summer String Workshop and Summer Music at Tateuchi, had a Masterclass with cellist Amit Peled at SFCM, and went to the Europe Tour with CYS in 2022.
