Yuxuan Ding

Yuxuan Ding, a pianist who has studied in the UK and the US, is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami, studying under Van Cliburn International Piano Competition awardee Tian Ying. She holds a master’s degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Yuxuan has performed across China, the UK, the USA, and Italy, holding solo recitals and concerto concerts, and is dedicated to promoting the works of 20th-century composers. She has recorded and released acclaimed niche works such as Benjamin Britten’s “Holiday Diary” and Lowell Liebermann’s “Gargoyles,” as well as albums of piano and viola music from China, demonstrating her profound understanding and interpretive skills of diverse musical styles. Yuxuan has collaborated with the Frost Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Robert Carnochan and Craig McKenzie, and has been active on the international music festival stages at Amalfi, Brevard, and Cadenza. Additionally, she has received guidance from world-class pianists such as Bruce Brubaker and Douglas Humpherys, and has earned numerous accolades in international competitions, showcasing her exceptional artistic achievements and professional competence.
