Angela (10) and Johan (8) are both students of Dr. Xika Huang. Both started learning violin at a young age. They both very much enjoy playing violin and aspire to one day become great violinists.
The experience of playing in a duet brought them many new challenges that they had not experienced before. For example, finding the communication cues to transmit musicality, or having a dual responsibility for playing the piece at high quality for themselves and for their partners sake. Probably the greatest challenge was overcoming their shyness of expressing themselves musically.
Angela and Johan will continue developing the skills that come with playing with a small ensemble.
