
Bharghav Kidambi – a rising sophomore at Coppell High School, Texas started learning Carnatic vocal – South Indian classical music from his mother Mrs. Soumya Ranganathan at the age of 3. He was then initiated into to mridangam – Indian percussion from the age of 7 under Mr. Erode Nagaraj who is a prime disciple of Padma Vibhushan Sri Umayalapuram Sivaraman. Bharghav is very passionate about rhythm and hence chose mridangam. He has been performing in India and around the DFW metroplex area for the past 3 years.
Saarang Kidambi – a rising 7th grader at Coppell Middle School East, Texas started learning Carnatic vocal – South Indian classical music from his mother Mrs. Soumya Ranganathan at the age of 3. He was very much in love with Guitar and hence started learning Western music at the age of 7. He then started learning South Indian classical music on electric guitar from the age of 9 under Mr. Vijay Arun. He has been performing in and around the DFW metroplex area for the past 2 years.
