Elise and Lucie are twin sisters who were born in New York to Dutch and French parents. They are 14 years old and attend ninth grade at the Packer Collegiate Institute. Elise and Lucie have been participating in the Suzuki program at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music since they were five years old and have had the privilege to be taught by Junko Nagai over the last five years. Thanks to Ms. Nagai, Elise and Lucie have had the opportunities to perform at piano recitals and piano festivals not only at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music but also at outside venues such as the Opera Center and the Steinway Hall. Starting last year, Elise and Lucie have started participating in piano competitions. Lucie was awarded the First Prize in the junior piano category of the New York Global Music Competition 2023, Elise and Lucie were first place of the Little Mozarts International Music Competition 2024, and second place of the Music Life Competition 2024 where they performed a piano duet. This has allowed Elise and Lucie to play at Carnegie Hall. Elise and Lucie are very close to each other and to their younger brother. They are bilingual in English and French, and in their spare time they like to play tennis, dance, write, bake, and see their friends.
