
The Mada & Hugh Piano Duo is a dynamic partnership between Romanian-born pianist Madalina Danila and Korean-American pianist Hugh Sung. Known for their innovative 4-hand and duo piano performances, they have enthralled audiences worldwide with recent shows in Paris, New York City, and upcoming engagements in Europe. Madalina is currently pursuing her Doctoral Studies in Piano Performance at Temple University in Philadelphia, where she has received a full scholarship and is guided by Prof. Lambert Orkis and Dr. Sara Davis Buechner. With a background that includes winning prizes and scholarships, Madalina actively champions Romanian and contemporary composers while performing solo, concerto, and chamber music concerts. Hugh Sung, hailed as one of the finest collaborative pianists of his generation, has performed and recorded with acclaimed musicians and served on the faculty of The Curtis Institute of Music. He co-founded AirTurn, a company revolutionizing digital sheet music page-turning, and joined ArtistWorks, an online music school. Hugh continues to perform globally and holds the position of Director of Institutional Solutions for Cunningham Piano, representing Yamaha and Bösendorfer pianos.
