Saxophonist Nicholas Suosso enjoys a career as a performer, educator, and clinician in the Arkansas River Valley. A dedicated performer, Nick has presented solo and chamber recitals at regional NASA Festivals, SPLICE Festival IV, the Mostly Modern Festival, Penn State Single Reed Summit, Music by Women Festival at the Mississippi University for Women, and the New England Saxophone Festival. An advocate for new music, Mr. Suosso has premiered works by Guggenheim Fellow Felipe Salles and Christine Delphine Hedden and been a commissioning member of works by Shelley Washington, Andrew Noseworthy, and Gillian Rae Perry. As a clinician he has led clinics across New England and Colorado. His mentors include Jonathan Hulting-Cohen and Nathan Jorgensen.
David Adams is a guitarist and IT specialist based in Fort Collins, CO. A performer who wear many hats, David finds himself equally at home performing jazz and popular music as he does new music. Recent projects include his band A Friendly Advocate’s debut album released in 2015, solo performances in Fort Collins, and a scheduled duo performance at Fort Collins Fringe Festival 2020 (postponed due to COVID-19). Originally from Holden, Massachusetts, David holds a performance degree from the University of New Hampshire where he studied jazz and classical guitar under David Newsam.
