Olina Xia, a 14-year-old, was born and raised in San Diego, California. At the age of four, she started her musical journey by learning piano. Very recently she teamed with her sister, Olivia Xia, to win first place for piano duo/four hands in the American protégé International Music Talent Competition Fall 2022. Olina will perform with her sister as the O2 Piano Duet at Carnegie Hall in New York in the summer of 2023. For the past years, Olina has been studying piano with the renowned piano teacher Tatiana Stignev in San Diego. She has been competing at regional levels in Southern California since an early age. She was among the top award winners of solo piano contests in Southern California, including 2018 Mozart Youth Festival, 2021 Sonata Competition, and 2022 Spring Competition. She also has broader interests in music. She was a chorister performing songs at numerous places around the city. She has also been playing oboe for years, receiving state honors. Besides playing piano and oboe, Olina is a star student and a competitive swimmer.

Olivia Xia, a 13-year-old, was born and raised in San Diego, California. She started her musical journey by learning piano at three. She teamed with her sister, Olina Xia, winning first place for piano duo/four hands in the American protégé International Music Talent Competition Fall 2022. Olivia will perform with her sister as the O2 Piano Duet at Carnegie Hall in New York in the summer of 2023. She was also among the top award winners of numerous solo piano contests in Southern California. For the past years she has been studying piano with the renowned piano teacher Tatiana Stignev in San Diego. Later as she continued playing the piano, Olivia also developed a strong interest in singing. She was with a local choir program for five years, performing songs at numerous places around the city, and then became a student of the veteran soprano Wei Feng, pursuing her talent as a solo singer. She recently won first place for Opera Aria in the junior division of the 2022 American Protégé International Vocal Competition and Young Talent Award in Vienna New Year’s Concert International Music Competition 2022. She will perform twice at Carnegie Hall in New York in 2023. Besides singing and playing piano, Olivia is a star student and a competitive swimmer.
