LUNAR STRING QUARTET

The Lunar String Quartet was formed in the fall of 2022 in Lansing by Michigan State University doctorate candidates; Violinist Yuanmiao Li a member of the Lansing Symphony Orchestra holding degrees from the Arizona State University (B.M.), Julliard School of Music (M.M.) and the University of Denver (A.D.); Violinist Yu Xin also a member of the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, holding degrees from the National Singapore University Yong Siew Toh Conservatory (B.M.) and DePaul University School of Music (M.M.); Violist Gerson Medina holding degrees from Shenandoah University (B.M.) and Lynn University (M.M.), current Principal Viola of the Midland Symphony Orchestra and Regular Section member of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra; and Cellist Mira Cheng holding degrees from the National Taipei University of Education (B.M.), and Michigan State University (M.M.). The Lunar String Quartet has played in multiple venues in the greater Lansing area and nearby cities at recital halls, churches, schools, and conferences with renowned artists such as Dmitri Berlinsky.
