I had an amazing experience participating in the Charleston International Music Competition. I would like to thank my teacher Timothy Cobb who has brought me to such a high level. I am so glad to have shared my music once again hopefully conveying a new story to every person that watched my performance. I hope my performance has shown the beauty of this instrument and the potential it can achieve to inspire others. This accomplishment has given me the confidence to strive greater achievements and can’t wait to compete again soon!
I truly congratulate not only myself, but all the other winners and participants. It is a pleasure and challenge to participate in the Charleston International Music Competition, and I am honored to have won. This win marks a point in my piano journey of 4 years. I have loved piano since I was very little and always have dreamed to be a professional pianist. Being a pianist is a long and challenging journey. It takes many reasonable hours of practicing every day, and takes motivation as well as patients. Over the last 4 years, I have been learning piano, and from my experience, Piano is both wonderful and rewarding, but is also tough and challenging.
I am so grateful to Charleston International Music Competition! This award has been a highlight of my musical journey so far. Winning this award will motivate me to work harder and will help me grow as a singer and most importantly, reinforce my confidence in my abilities. This award is not only honorable for me, but for my teacher Ms. Barbara Martin who has guided me through the up and down journey of music. She is a big reason I am where I am now. I am excited to continue on my musical journey.

This competition meant a great deal to him and will be a catalyst for his future musical endeavors, as I know he was very excited to be a finalist and overjoyed to have won! He was very meticulous preparing for this and spent many hours researching the literature and making it performance ready. He was diligent with his preparation and I could see the excitement building as he made the performance video. I think that this competition is a wonderful venue for aspiring musicians and I would recommend any young musician to pursue this competition as well as others. It was a great learning experience for both of us.

The Charleston International Music Competition is one of the best online global music competitions. My students were motivated by preparing for the Charleston International Music Competition which is open to all musicians from around the world and more accessible to participants by eliminating travel costs since it is an event that takes place entirely through video submissions. It provided my students with opportunities to be evaluated by world-class judges on their performance skills. The results were reasonable and respectful. My students’ portrait photos and music biographies are published on the results page of the Charleston International Music Competition with their performances on their YouTube channel after they became winners. They were encouraged by receiving top prizes for their hard work and dedication. I strongly recommend the Charleston International Music Competition to talented musicians who want to start their musical journey with global recognition.
