My name is Maya Karatepe. I participated in the Charleston International Music Competition from Turkey and was awarded 4th place in the piano category. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the competition organizers for giving me the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring and prestigious event.
Representing my country in an international competition and sharing the same stage with talented young musicians from all around the world has been an unforgettable experience for me. This journey has contributed greatly to both my musical and personal development, and it has helped me express myself more confidently through music.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my teacher, Ece Tüysüzoğlu Doğuer, for her continuous support, guidance, and belief in me throughout this process. I would not have achieved this success without her dedication and encouragement.
