About John Carpenter
A classical pianist and music educator based in Cincinnati, Ohio. He studied at the Manhattan School of music and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of music (CCM)His teachers included prominent figures such as Eugene List and Sascha Gorodnitzki. He has performed at Carnegie Hall three times (including two solo recitals) and has appeared as soloist with various orchestras. He was awarded prized in competitions such as the International Competition Immortal and Living Composers and the Charleston International Music Competitions. Hw teaches piano alongside his wife, Suzanne, at the Arts Center of Springfield Township and has served as church musician for many churches. He also hosts the John Carpenter Music and Variety Show on WAIF 88.3 FM in Cincinnati, which airs Monday nights from 6-8 pm.
