About Joyce Lin
Joyce Lin is a versatile pianist, collaborative artist, and dedicated educator whose musical journey began at age four in a musically rich environment. As a soloist and collaborative partner, she has appeared in international music festivals across the United States and Asia, performing in masterclasses and concerts alongside distinguished artists such as Alexander Korsantia, Jeffrey Kahane, and Martin Katz.
Joyce earned her Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from UCLA under the guidance of Dr. David Kaplan and Dr. James Lent, where she was awarded the prestigious Moss Scholarship. She subsequently completed her Master’s degree in Keyboard Collaborative Arts at USC, studying with Dr. Alan Smith and Kevin Fitzgerald, where she deepened her artistry across chamber music, vocal repertoire, and instrumental collaboration.
Celebrated for her subtle musical sensitivity and seamless adaptability, Joyce maintains an active performing schedule across solo, ensemble, and masterclass settings.
Alongside her performing career, Joyce leads a private piano studio in Irvine, Orange County. Her students consistently achieve recognition in competitions, regional festivals, and auditions, with several earning performances at notable venues such as Carnegie Hall.
