About Melanie Telunts
I hold a Master’s Degree in Music Performance and Pedagogy and am currently working toward completing my PhD in Piano Performance and Music Education. With 20 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working with students of various ages and levels, helping them develop strong technique, musicality, confidence, and a genuine love for music.
My teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in the Russian School of Piano, with its emphasis on a strong technical foundation, beautiful tone production, musical expression, and thoughtful interpretation. I believe in developing each student as a complete musician while tailoring my approach to their individual abilities and goals.
In addition to teaching, I am an active concert pianist and have performed on stages around the world. My students have participated in various international piano competitions, achieving first-place awards and top prizes. My experience as both a professional performer and dedicated educator allows me to bring a high level of musical knowledge, artistry, and inspiration to every lesson.
