Tarana Taylor is an accomplished classical pianist, conductor, and educator with extensive international performance experience across solo, chamber, ballet, and theater genres. Her notable roles include serving as Principal Pianist with the Houston Repertoire Ballet, rehearsal pianist for the Houston Ballet Company, and Music Director and Conductor of the Houston Ballet repertoire orchestra.Tarana holds a MA in Solo and Collaborative Piano, and an MBA. As the founder and director of Mozart Academy, she uses her extensive background as a world-class performer and conductor to provide students with strong technical foundations, artistic expression, and prestigious performance opportunities.
