About Yen-Jung Lin

Beginning her musical journey at the age of three, she entered a rigorous and systematic music program in the first grade of elementary school, where she received comprehensive training in piano performance and musicianship from an early age. With unwavering dedication and a profound passion for the musical arts, she has continued to pursue excellence in music throughout her career. She holds a Master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of Music at Taipei National University of the Arts, one of Taiwan’s leading institutions for advanced musical training.

As a professional pianist and music educator, she is deeply committed to both artistic excellence and meaningful music education. Her teaching integrates solid technical foundations, musical interpretation, artistic expression, and individualized instruction. She places particular emphasis on developing not only refined piano technique and musicality, but also confidence, stage presence, and independent musical thinking. Her goal is to help each student build a strong musical foundation while discovering and cultivating a distinctive artistic voice of their own.

In 2022, she co-founded IRU Music Studio with her younger sister, with a vision of creating a learning environment that brings together professionalism, artistry, and warmth. Through thoughtful and systematic instruction, she guides students of diverse ages and levels to develop a deeper understanding of music, strengthen their confidence, and gradually discover their unique musical potential.

The name “IRU” is not only derived from the initials of the sisters’ names, but also represents their philosophy of music education: every student is like an unpolished gem, possessing a unique brilliance waiting to be revealed. With time, dedication, and thoughtful guidance, each individual can refine their abilities, discover their own musical voice, and ultimately shine in a way that is uniquely their own.
