Celine Chang

Celine is a 16 year old from southern California who loves to learn and play both violin and the piano. She played the first violin in Los Angeles Youth Philharmonic Orchestra for 2024-2025. She has won numerous awards over the past years in violin including 1st place in the most recent Young Artist Int’l Premiere Competition 2025, 1st in United Stars Music Competition 2025, 2nd in Great Composers Competition 2025. In Dec. 2022, she has performed at Carnegie Hall after winning 1st place from Golden Classical Music Awards. She won 1st place in SYMF (2024, 2020), 2nd in Young Soloist Int’l Music Competition 2024, 1st in Altair Int’l Music Competition 2022 and 3rd in 2021, placed 1st in Prima Volta Music Competition 2022, 1st in both Charleston 18th Century Int’l Music Competition in 2024 and 19th Century in 2022. Celine accomplished Certificate of Merit Level 10 with honors in piano. She has also won 1st place in piano at SYMF 2020. In school, Celine is immersed in every opportunity available as a musician. She has participated in pit orchestra for school musicals, such as ‘Means Girls’, ‘Shrek’, and ‘Spongebob’.
