Aaron Zhang has been playing violin for 11 years. He is the Concertmaster and student conductor of the American Heritage School Symphony Orchestra. He was selected into the Florida All state Youth Symphony for 4 consecutive years. In 2023 Aaron won first place of Charleston 19th Century Music Competition. In 2022 Aaron won Florida Federation of Music Clubs Violin Concerto Competition Senior section Honorable Mention award. He has played in multiple youth symphony orchestras since 7 years old, including Greater Miami Youth Symphony as Assistant Concert Master, Naples Youth symphony, and SWFL Youth symphony as Concertmaster. Besides violin, Aaron enjoys solving math problems, playing baseball and writing poems.
