Post graduated in music education, and graduated in music and pedagogy by Claretiano. Bachelor in Clarinet from UFRJ, in the teachers Batista Júnior and Cristiano Alves’ class. Adilson Alves began his musical studies at the age of eight and at the age of eleven began to learn clarinet, at the Villa Lobos Music School, under the guidance of Professor José Carlos de Castro. Prized with some awards, such as UFRJ Jovens Solistas contest [Young Soloists] and the honorable mention of Villa Lobos Festival, Adilson had the opportunity to study two semesters at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, under the guidance of Professor Wolfgang Meyer. Being a scholarship holder of the Fundação Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) [Coordination for the Higher Education Personnel Improvement Foundation], the clarinetist has, currently, an active career as a teacher, interpreter and cameraman. Acting actively in several institutions, and performing in concert halls across the country.
