Albert Yuxuan Hu

Albert Hu is a rising senior at Huron High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He began playing piano at 6 years old and has been a student of Mrs. Hsiu-Hui Chen since 2014. He soon showed passion and talent for piano and won his first medal – Early Bach Medal at age 9 and made his first debut at Carnegie Hall at age 10. His recent awards include First Prize of “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition in 2022 and 2023, Second Prize in 2023 Classical Music Competition and 2023 European Music Competition, Northern Lights International Piano Festival & Competition Silver Award in 2023 and Bronze Award in 2024. He has performed piano in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall five times and Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels one time. He is a performer and organizer for the piano concerts dedicated to local senior living community. Aside from piano, Albert is a clarinetist in Huron High School Symphony Band and a tennis player on Huron High School Varsity Tennis Team. He also enjoys playing basketball and chess.
