Alina Cherkasova is an ukrainian opera singer, concert performer, voice and piano instructor. Alina is a laureate of European and International competitions from the USA, Italy, Ukraine, Spain and Austria. Graduate from the Odessa National Music Academy (Ukraine) and Dnipro Music Academy (Ukraine).
Back in Ukraine Alina was the founder of the charitable organization “Opera vo Blago”( “Opera for boon”) through the concerts of classical music we helped cancer patients, children, elderly’s and animals). “Opera vo Blago” received many awards .
Since March of 2020 Alina and her military husband have been living in Aberdeen, NC . She continues charitable performances to support the US military, veterans and their military spouses.In the future there are projects for more charitable concerts for the military families and wounded worrier’s.
Since March of 2022 Alina has already done four fundraiser concerts for Ukraine, providing medical and humanitarian help to ukrainians.
In the US Alina teaches privately , actively performing in many churches including Fort Bragg, Southern Pines, Pinehurst. Also perform in the UNC Pembroke, UNC Chapel Hill, Art Council Fayetteville and Lafayette society.
About two years Alina is a certified trained volunteer in the Guardian ad Litem Program in Judicial District 19D. She serves abused and neglected children by advocating for their best interests in court.
