Amrita Cheyenne Das, born on March 08, 2011, in a small New England town at the heart of Western Massachusetts, showed an extraordinary passion for music from an early age. At just 12 years old, she has become an accomplished pianist, capturing the hearts of music enthusiasts with her exceptional talent and unwavering determination.
Amrita’s musical journey began when she would try to play on a toy piano at the age of four. Initially, she would try to play tunes by ear. Recognizing her innate talent, her parents enrolled her in formal piano lessons from the age of six. Her abilities have flourished since then, displaying a depth of musical understanding far beyond her years.
By the age of eleven, she completed all the lesson books of Faber Piano Adventures. Not content with the progress in her piano lessons, she decided to change piano teacher last year to take on greater challenges and increase her repertoire. She has not only flourished under her current teacher but also gained the trust of her teacher due to her dedication and perseverance. Her favorite composers are Felix Mendelssohn and Frédéric Chopin, who have deeply influenced her passion for learning piano.
With a promising future ahead, Amrita continues to hone her skills and explore new musical horizons. Her passion, coupled with her commitment and humility, ensures that she will leave an enduring legacy in the world of music. As she embarks on her musical journey, the world eagerly awaits the beautiful melodies she will undoubtedly play in the years to come.
