Angelina Chan

I have been playing the flute for nearly three years and the piccolo for almost two. I have also played piano for nearly 10 years and frequently participated in various recitals. I use these skills in both community band and in my school’s music program and marching band. I also received a qualifying score for New York All State on the flute with a 99. Music has become a central part of my life, even more so during this pandemic time. As a result, I have created Musical Unity Program, a program in my school and under Tri-M, a national music honors society, that brings music to residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities as a means of increasing morale.
