Ani Chong is a 19 year old pianist born in the United States. She most recently participated in the Villa Sandra Piano Academy festival where she performed Melancolie by Poulenc and Sonata in E minor Hob. 34 at the Maggiore Theater in Verbania Italy. In addition to classical piano, Ani also enjoys participating in musical theater, most recently playing piano in a production of Company. She also is a published illustrator, working with author Aaron Tolson to illustrate his book Tiny Tap Shoes, a percussionist, and plays jazz piano. Ani is in her second year studying at New York University with Dr. Yoojung Kim.
