Anna Linder is an 18 year-old violinist who began studying at age five. An avid chamber musician, Anna began studying at the Chamber Music Connection at the age of nine, under the direction of Deborah Barrett Price. She was a violinist with the Dajj String Quartet from 2015 – 2022. Dajj competed and medaled at numerous national and international competitions, most notably, Fischoff, M-Prize, Bellagrande International Music Competition, St. Paul String Quartet Competition, MYA Discover National Chamber Music Competition, WDAV/Davidson National Competition, and the Coltman Competition. Anna has performed in side-by-side residencies and masterclasses with the Calidore String Quartet, Cavani String Quartet, Dover Quartet, St. Lawrence String Quartet, Doric String Quartet, the Hausmann Quartet, Neave Trio, Peter Saloff, Aizuri Quartet and many others.
As a soloist Anna was most recently awarded first prize at the Bellagrande International Music Competition. She also won first prize at the River Cities Symphony Orchestra’s Concerto Competition and the New Albany Symphony Orchestra’s Concerto Competition and performed as the featured soloist with both. Anna has performed in masterclasses for Augustin Hadelich, Rachel Barton Pine, Danielle Belen, Simon James, Annie Fullard, Jinjoo Cho, Almita Vamos, Sibbi Bernhardsson, and others.
Anna has participated in summer festivals including Music at Menlo Young Performers Program, Encore Chamber Music Intensive, Center Stage Strings, Encore Summer Academy Solo Intensive, Cincinnati Emerging Young Artists Chamber Music, and Green Lake Chamber Music Festival.
Anna currently studies with Danielle Belen and Ryan Meehan.
