Arabelle Grote, nine, is a 4th grader at Bellevue Children’s Academy in Bellevue, WA. She has studied piano since the age of five. Her current teacher is Ni Liu. She performed at Benaroya Hall at age five and seven, after winning first place at the Russian Chamber Music Festival and Competition. In 2021 she was a first-place winner in the American Protégé International Music Spring Talent Competition and will perform at the Carnegie Hall winner’s recital in 2022. She was a gold medalist at the 2020 Pacific NW Piano Competition and won 1st place in the 2020 Simon-Fiset piano competition. Arabelle was awarded the Best Performance of a Baroque Composition in 2020 and in 2021. She also received a silver medal at the 2021 NW Chopin Competition and the 2020 Russian Chamber Music Festival and Competition. In 2018 she won a gold medal at the Seattle International Piano Competition Virtuoso Festival.
