Arabelle Grote, ten, is a 4th grader at Bellevue Children’s Academy in Bellevue, WA. She has studied piano since the age of five and her current teacher is Ni Liu. In 2021, she received numerous awards, including a First Prize & Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize from the International Music Competition “Bonn/Beethoven” Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition and a First Prize in the Great Composers International Rising Talent of the Americas Competition. She is a 2021 first-place winner in the Charleston International Music Competition, American Fine Arts Festival, and American Protégé International Music Spring Talent Competition. Arabelle has been invited to perform in winner’s recitals at Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, Germany in 2021 and Carnegie Hall in 2022. She has also performed at Benaroya Hall at age five and seven, after winning first place at the Russian Chamber Music Festival and Competition. Prior notable achievements include being a gold medalist at the 2020 Pacific NW Piano Competition and 1st place in the 2020 Simon-Fiset piano competition. Arabelle was awarded the Best Performance of a Baroque Composition in 2020 and in 2021. She received a silver medal at the 2021 NW Chopin Competition, 2021 Pacific International Piano Competition and the 2020 Russian Chamber Music Festival and Competition.
