Ariadna Terol Donat

Ariadna was born in 2004. She started playing the viola at the age of 7 at the Conservatory of Alginet where she finished the elementary grade. She began her professional studies at the Professional Conservatory of Carcaixent with Luis Roig, continued second and third at the Conservatory of Carlet with Vicente Giménez Cervero. At the age of 11, in parallel with the last year of elementary school, he attended weekly classes with Sylvie Berger in Valencia. During these last years he attended the summer courses of the Princess of Asturias Foundation in Oviedo. He received lessons from Santiago Cantó (soloist Orquesta de Valencia), Ana Valero Betrán (Professor RCSM) Igor Suliga and Thuan Do Minh among others. He was also a member of the Orquesta de la Ribera, Joven Orquesta de la Generalitat Valenciana, Orquesta y Coros JMJ de Madrid and Orquesta de Jóvenes de Alicante. In 2019 he received a scholarship from International Musica Mundi School in Waterloo, Belgium. There he completed his bachelor studies and received viola lessons from Julia Dinerstein and chamber classes from Leonid Kerbel. He also received master classes from Mihail Zemtsov, Mikhail Kugel and Dana Zemtsov. He graduated from this school in 2022. He then applied to the Conservatories of Rotterdam, Maastricht, Utrecht and The Hague to continue his studies. After obtaining a place in all Conservatories he enrolled in Maastricht where he is currently studying with Julia Dinerstein. In the last year he has received many awards at competitions such as First prize at Kingspeak music competition, First prize at IMKA, First prize at London International Music Competition, Second prize at Charleston Music Competition, Second prize at String Music Competition SCO and First prize at Online International BTHVN Wien Competition.
