Armen Martirosyan

Armen Martirosyan is an enthusiastic and accomplished pianist, well-versed in teaching piano to amateur and experienced students. He takes a special interest and a passionate approach to music, and exhibits that passion in his works, as well as instills it in his students.

He is originally from Yerevan, Armenia, and is currently based in Miami, Florida. Armen Martirosyan graduated from Arno Babajanyan College of Music (program for highly promising musicians) and subsequently received a full tuition scholarship to pursue his musical studies at Yerevan State Conservatory in Armenia. During his second year of studies, Armen was invited to study at Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Presidential Scholarship covering full tuition. Armen performed thirteen Solo recitals including repertoire of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Ravel, Shubert, Chaminade, Babajanyan, and Khachaturyan, among others (four of which as an accompanist).

He is a Grand Prize Winner of many international competitions, including “New Eighth Sound” and “Harmonia” International Music Festivals, as well as “Renaissance” International Competition, where he was nominated for Best Piano Performance and Outstanding Concertmaster. Armen won “Golden Harp” National music contest and “Art Music” International Art Contest for two consecutive years. Recently Armen appeared at Key Biscayne Piano Festival where he performed pieces from Brahms, Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Debussy.
