
Avantika Swaminathan is a rising freshman at the Thornton School of Music at USC where she will study vocal performance. She enjoys solo and ensemble performances and has sung at events, fundraisers and participated in her high school’s award-winning choir program. She enjoys challenging herself and growing her craft. She placed third this year in the Classical Singer Music Competition and first last year in the Charleston International Music Competition (18th Century) where she was awarded Most Exceptional Performer and New Talent Festival (Conservatorio Della Svizzera Italia & Giuliana Bianco). She also placed second at NATS regionals and 3rd in the California regionals for Schmidt Vocal Arts last year. She hopes to touch people’s hearts and put a smile on people’s faces with her singing.
