I was raised by two music teachers who told me my whole life that “I’m not allowed to go to school for music! There’s no money in it!” I have since finished my undergraduate studies with a Music Education Degree from Luther College, taught middle school band in Princeton Minnesota for two years, earned a Master’s Degree in flute performance from Penn State, and will be starting my Doctor of Musical Arts degree this year at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. A musicians love for music is priceless. I thank my family and all of my amazing music educators, private instructors, and inspirational musical colleagues for their love and support.
