Charles Zhao is a 8th grader and has studied piano with Dr. Marjorie Lee since he was five. He has attended many piano competitions and won several awards, such as first place at the 2023 NVMTA Ensemble competition, 2022 WMTA Hungarian Music Piano Competition, 2022 Robert Spencer Concerto Competition, 2021 VMTA state auditions, 2020 Elite International Music Competition, and 2019 NVMTA Concerto Competition.
