Chenjun Ruan

Chenjun Ruan was born in June, 2010. Currently, he studies at Ningbo Haishu Foreign Language School (Ningbo, China) and has learned piano for 8 years.

He studied from teacher Xing Chen between 2014 and 2016, from teacher Yulan Chen from 2016 to 2021, and has been studying from Dr. Xiaoxiong Chen since December, 2021.

He won the first prize in the Ningbo Division of the 6th German Mendelssohn International Piano Competition in 2018. In 2019, he won the second prize in the Ningbo Division of the Pearl River Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition, the gold medal in the children’s group B in the preliminary competition of the Liszt International Youth Piano Competition in China, and the first prize in the children’s group in the Ningbo Division of the 6th Kawaii Asian Piano Competition, and the special prize in the Chinese composition group, and the first prize in the children’s group in the Ningbo Division of the Chopin International Youth Piano Competition. In 2000, he won the first prize in the children’s group of the Seventh Piano Young Pianist Competition Ningbo Selection Competition. In 2021, he won the first prize in Ningbo Division of Magnolia International Music Festival Piano Competition, first prize in Ningbo Division of Pearl River Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition. In April 2022, he won the first prize in the Ningbo Division of the 4th Liszt International Youth Piano Competition.
