Chloe has been a Recanati-Kaplan Program scholar at the 92Y School of Music since 2014, where she studies violin with Julie Kurtzman. She has also been the concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra at the InterSchool Orchestras of New York since 2017.
She has attended the Point Counterpoint Music Camp in Leicester, Vermont, since the summer of 2013. During that period, she performed in a concert of advanced chamber music at Brandon Town Hall in Brandon, Vermont.
She won the ISO Concerto Competition in 2015, at the age of ten, and made her solo debut with the ISO Concert Orchestra in Rose Theatre at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
She performed twice in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall after winning first place in the 2015 Forte International Music Competition and the 2016 Rondo Vanguard Music Competition.
Andrea Grimes of WCBS-TV interviewed her for CBS in April 2018. In 2019, she was chosen to perform at the Howard Johnson Tribute Gala at Merkin Hall.
She won first place at the 2019 International Best Shostakovich Performance Competition, the 2021 International Masters of Concerto Competition, and the 2022 Music of the Nineteenth Century Competition.
She participated in masterclasses with Odin Rathnam in 2015, Midori Goto in 2021, and Ida Kavafian in 2022.
She will perform solo with the ISO Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Space’s Sharp Theatre in March 2023 after being chosen as one of the winners of Third Street’s 2022 concerto competition.
