
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Don Wong started learning the piano at the age of five and has been awarded numerous accolades at the regional, state, and international levels. Don was the second prize winner at the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. His other notable awards include the Grand Prize at the Satori Summer Music Festival, First Prize at the Liana Cohen Piano Competition, and a scholarship to the Warsaw Piano Workshop in Poland. Don has appeared in venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, and the Colburn School’s Zipper Hall. Don is also an active ensemble musician, as the pianist for Diamond Bar High School’s Symphony Orchestra and chamber musician in the Performing Arts Academy.
Don has studied under the tutelege of Wen-Ting Huang, Roza Yoder, and Ning An. Outside of music, Don pursues his passion for astrophysics and recently interned for NASA in 2023.
