Dylan Danis Schenker

Dylan Schenker is a classical pianist, violinist and composer from Maryland. He started playing piano at age 5 under the guidance of teacher Mary Kading. Dylan is a 2023 Winner of the International Piano Composition Contest, American College of Musicians/National Piano Guild, a Merit Prize Winner of the 2023 National Opus Competition (Senior Division), and was the 2022 First Prize Winner (Category IV Piano) for Maryland in the State Opus Music Competition. Dylan also earned the 2022 Luciana Montanari-Mendola Young Pianist Award from the Italian Cultural Society, and a 2022 Excellent Achievement Award & Honorable Mention (Piano Solo Junior Division), YMIC International Competition.
He is a regular volunteer with the Tacy Foundation, where he leads youth recitals at senior citizen residences and rehabilitation centers, and participates in the Piano Pals program, teaching piano to elementary school children and senior citizens.
