Edward Huang

Edward Huang has been taking piano lessons since he was 5 and studies with Natalia Hanukai. He won Gold Medalist in 2023 U.S. Open Music Competition Showcase Piano Solo Senior-Advanced category and has been placed 1st, 2nd, and 4th in various USOMC categories over the years. In June 2018, he performed at Carnegie Hall after winning the American Fine Arts Festival. Edward was a 1st place winner of American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition and second place winner of CAPMT HONORS COMPETITION. In 2023 American Virtuoso International Music Competition Winter Edition, Edward won second prize of Music in the Classical Period and third prize of Music in the Romantic Period. Edward also won various prizes in The KAMSA competition and The ENKOR International Piano Competition. Edward passed Certificate of Merit advanced level with state honor in 2021 and was recently selected as a Certificate of Merit Panel finalist and awarded the Panel Honors Recital, an honor awarded to students who “have demonstrated artistic and technical skill and polish at a near-professional level.”
