Elaine Sun is an 11-year-old pianist from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Elaine has been learning piano for about 5.5 years. She attended the Piano Pedagogy Laboratory Program at the University of Michigan and passed the Piano Level-2 Practical Exam organized by the Royal Conservatory of Music in June 2020. She is currently taking piano lessons from Dr. Hsiu-Hui Chen and was a First Prize Winner of the 2022 and 2023 “Golden Classical Music Awards” International Competition. Elaine enjoys playing musical pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy as well as taking ice skating and Chinese dance lessons.
